About UsWelcome to Wild Welsh WoodPlease see below a brief introduction to Wild Welsh Wood and our commitment to the environment. About Wild Welsh Wood...Wild Welsh Wood's workshop is located in the former Cowshed at Dolgoch Farm. Situated at the foot of the beautiful Dolgoch Falls, near Bryncrug in the Tal Y Llyn valley in Mid Wales, Dolgoch is a wonderful place to visit. You can take a walk up to the waterfalls, enjoy a trip on the local steam train or simply soak up the atmosphere by having a picnic. Wild Welsh Wood is committed to -
What we do...Using locally sourced materials, Wild Welsh Wood design and build eco friendly rustic furnishings for your home and garden. Quality craftmanship and a commitment to our environment are combined to produce unique handmade furniture that is built to last. Influenced by our beautiful surroundings in the Snowdonia National Park, our designs are inspired by nature - from the summit of Cader Idris; the length and breadth of the Mawddach Estuary, to the amazing surrounding beaches, and, of course, the awesome Welsh forests. Using organic and natural materials we can provide your home and garden with 'friendly' rustic furniture that is designed to your specifications and requirements. We want to remind and encourage people to consider the benefits of solid wood furniture, whilst considering how this can be achieved by minimising the impact on our environment. The advantages of our solid wood furniture are not only obvious in its beauty and durability but as we use reclaimed woods that are already hundreds of years old our furniture adds character and warmth to any living environment. A further benefit of our furniture is that whilst it will weather and age gracefully, it can be resanded and refinished if affected by usual wear and tear. We love what we do and we hope you will too.... |
