Storytelling ChairsThese beautiful storytelling chairs are influenced by nature and Inspired by the Bardic Chairs of the Welsh Eisteddfod. The word ‘Eistedd’ comes from the Welsh for to sit, whilst the word ‘bod’ means to be. Our rustic storytelling chairs offer a real focal point for any garden or living area, whilst also offering that something special to communal spaces in schools, libraries and hotels. The handcrafted frame is built from reclaimed oak, a material that provides unique character and incredible strength to the chair. The responsibly sourced seating and back panels are then individually designed to provide an inspirational seat in which ‘to be’. Unless otherwise stated our storytelling chairs are made to order. We are happy to discuss lead times prior to any order being placed. We currently estimate build time to be 6 to 8 weeks. All of our storytelling chairs are triple wood treated, preserved and finished by applying natural oils making the Chair suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. If you would rather that we did not oil your storytelling chair please let us know when placing your order. Approximate dimensions of our adult storytelling chairs are :- Height 1.4-1.6m Width 68cm Depth 66cm. Much is however dependent on the natural shape and dimensions of the wood sourced.
